One network. Four revenue engines. A compounding data moat.
ChooseFranchise turns the noisy, broker-led franchise marketplace into the independent source of truth. Built for the Australian market, with ~90,000 franchise locations, the choosefranchise.com platform is engineered to capture the entire AU franchise ecosystem, with a model built for seamless global expansion.
Every part of the network feeds the next.
Most franchise marketplaces are pay-to-play directories. We've inverted the model: independent buyer intelligence comes first, and everything else, including verification, brokerage, and agency, compounds off the traffic it creates.

Intelligence Platform
The neutral source of truth: structured profiles, performance signals, real franchisee NPS. Independence is the moat — and the reason buyers (and journalists, lenders, advisors) come here first.
A .com platform designed for the entire AU franchise ecosystem.
Our immediate focus is 100% on Australia, a mature, highly franchised market with over 90,000 franchise locations. All operations, existing agency relationships, and initial rollouts are fully concentrated here to build an unassailable domestic position.
But we built this as a choosefranchise.com business from day one. By securing the premium global domain, our entire technology stack, data model, and monetization flywheel are structured to easily port into international markets once Australia is secured.
Franchise Digital’s deep industry experience and infrastructure provide the perfect launchpad, ensuring our platform is engineered to international standards and primed for future global expansion.

Australia is the proving ground. The exact same infrastructure, verification metrics, and brokerage commission model are built for seamless global expansion when the time comes.
Australia is the beachhead. The same platform, data model and brokerage rails are designed to plug into the eight English-speaking franchise markets below, representing roughly 9,000–12,500 franchise systems in aggregate.
| Market | Franchise Groups (Systems / Brands) | Source / Year |
|---|---|---|
| AustraliaFocus | 2,214 systems | Franchise Disclosure Register, 2026 |
| USA | ~3,000–6,300 active brands | IFA / FRANdata / PeerSense, 2025–26 |
| Canada | ~1,000+ brands | IFA Canada analysis, 2024 |
| UK | ~1,009 systems | British Franchise Association, 2024 |
| Malaysia | ~1,154 registered brands | Malaysian Franchise Association / Ministry, 2022–23 |
| New Zealand | ~546 systems | Massey University / FANZ, 2024 |
| Hong Kong | ~531 brands | InCorp HK, 2023 |
| Singapore | ~500+ systems | Kadence International / FLA Singapore, 2024–25 |
Registry Advantage: Australia is our high-conviction key market because the federal Franchise Disclosure Register gives us deterministic matching of every active franchise opportunity. Other markets lack an equivalent, government-mandated central audience register, meaning their reported numbers are likely understated—while further elevating the value of our proprietary discovery and verification loop as we expand internationally.
Buyer traffic forces franchisors to verify.
Once enough qualified buyers research a category on ChooseFranchise, an unclaimed profile becomes a commercial liability for the franchisor. They must claim and verify by adding fresh data, photos, unit economics and franchisee NPS. This makes the platform more useful, which pulls in more buyers, which puts more pressure on the next unverified brand.
Verification is paid, recurring SaaS revenue, and the dataset it produces is something no competitor can buy after the fact.

One audience. Stacked monetisation.
Verified Brand Profiles
Recurring SaaS subscription for franchisors to claim, enrich and continuously update their profile, tiered by depth from basic verification through to enhanced lead routing.
Brokerage Commission
We take 30% of the initial franchise fee on every match made through the platform. Every additional candidate in the funnel directly increases commission with effectively zero CAC.
Resales Marketplace
Existing franchisees listing their business for sale through the platform. This creates a high-value secondary market with transaction fees and listing revenue, fed by the same buyer audience.
Services Marketplace → FD Agency
Verified brands consistently surface a need: better marketing. ChooseFranchise becomes the warm-lead funnel into Franchise Digital's existing agency business.
Already a real business with A$1M EBITDA from 15 franchise groups.
Franchise Digital is the operating company underneath ChooseFranchise. Working with just 15 franchise groups today, it generates an average of A$140,000 per year in recurring revenue per group, running paid media, lead nurture, franchisee enablement and local-area marketing.
ChooseFranchise is the discovery layer that feeds it. Every verified brand on the platform is, by definition, a pre-warmed agency conversation. We don't need to win the agency pitch; we need to surface the brand at the moment they realise their marketing isn't keeping up with their growth ambitions.
The only dataset that deterministically links every location back to its franchisor.
Google, Meta, and review platforms treat the ~90,000 AU franchise outlets as independent businesses. Brand pages float free of their locations. Locations float free of their group. Nobody in the market can stitch them back together at scale.
We do. Every location we ingest is keyed by Google Place ID and hard-joined to its franchisor group via our HQ-extracted location registry and alias resolver to create a deterministic join rather than a fuzzy guess.
The result: we can roll up every Google review, every Instagram post, every Meta ad from every franchisee location to the brand level, allowing us to watch sentiment, creative output and unit performance move over time. No franchisor, broker or analyst in Australia can do this today.
- › Google Places & ReviewsPlace ID, rating, review count, hours, photos and every individual review, snapshotted as a time-series per location.
- › Social Profiles & PostsInstagram, Facebook and LinkedIn handles per location, with post-level engagement tracked over time.
- › Meta Ad LibraryEvery active and historical ad creative running against each location and franchisor, covering creative cadence, messaging, and targeting.
- › HQ-Verified Location RegistryCanonical list of franchisee-operated locations extracted from each franchisor, serving as the deterministic key that ties external data back to the group.
- › Franchisor TimelineUnit growth, openings, closures and disclosure changes, accumulating month over month.
Every row is keyed by location_id → group_id. That join is the asset nobody else has.
A dataset that cannot be bought after the fact.
First-party Franchisee NPS
Quarterly sentiment from operators inside each network, representing the single most predictive signal of franchise system health.
Behavioural Buyer Intent
What buyers research, compare, save, and abandon, which provides proprietary intent data nobody else in the category collects.
Verified Profile History
A time-series of unit growth, churn, fees, and disclosure changes, accumulating value every month it runs.
A platform business, built on the cash flow of a profitable agency.
Most marketplaces burn capital for years buying both sides of the network. ChooseFranchise doesn't. The agency funds the platform. The platform feeds the agency. Verified profiles, brokerage commission and resale fees sit on top, each one representing a real revenue line, not a future hope.
We're not building another directory. We're building the independent layer the entire Australian franchise sector ends up transacting through, capturing value at every step a buyer, franchisor or operator makes inside it.
